Because each family member plays a unique role in the life of a child, Family Ties offers specialized support groups throughout Westchester:

Parent Groups
Grandparent Groups
Sibling Groups
Fathers' Groups
Early Childhood Parent Groups
Boys' Groups

Each support group addresses mutual questions and concerns that arise when caring for a child who has emotional and/or behavioral difficulties.
Our support groups allow family members to share experiences and connect with others who understand.
Childcare is always provided at no cost.

Advocacy
 

Family Ties advocates on behalf of children and families whenever needed.  We attend school meetings, court hearings and represent families at community-based Networks.  We also speak out on our members' behalf on broader state and national issues.  Together, Family Ties and parents represent a powerful and vocal constituency for children's mental health.
