Abbott Houses Community Residence

Abbott Houses Community Residence provides a closely-supervised group living situation for eight seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) children between the ages of 7 and 10˝  years of age at admission.

Program Services Program includes structures daily living activities, instruction in problem-solving skills, behavior management, and caring, consistent relationships.

Population Targeted Population Targeted:  Children and adolescents who are known to the mental health treatment community because of psychiatric symptoms, and who are also at risk of placement.  Children with a DSM IV diagnosis and I.Q. over 65.
