Knowledge Nights Knowledge Nights
offers aging out youth an opportunity to attend and participate in a series of ongoing psycho-educational workshops which teach and empower youth to make their
lives successful: socially, academically and personally. The workshops incorporate discussion and activities based on various psychological schools of thought eg: "Observe-infer-evaluate-decide-act";
explanation of behavior allows the incorporation of a number of techniques. Behavior modification techniques allow youth to analyze behavior and then act out changes they see necessary in their own behavior.
Many other workshops are based on observation of behavior and needs specific to this age group, and techniques to address these needs and behaviors are drawn from youth's brainstorming sessions and input and
professional workshop facilitators experience.Workshops will be open to ages 17-23 and will be offered on alternating weekday evenings from 6-8 pm. Youth will be required to sign up in advance.
